Even Bigger Stainless Steel Balls

We love our stainless steel balls round here.
We also love doing slightly more design-led projects- even if the designers themselves always want the quote yesterday and then don’t actually throw the job your way for another six months. But, it’s the nature of the beast and is always pleasant diversion from the usual bread and butter.
One of our favourite jobs was a stainless steel fabricated globe we manufactured for John Lennon Airport in Liverpool.
Here it is just outside our workshop before it rolled down the M65 out of Lancashire. Don’t ask me why we don’t have any pictures of it in situ, but I might pop over to Liverpool whilst the wife’s over and take some.
